a seasonal smoothie for a cold winter day...
I’m constantly searching for healthy, easy, on-the-go meals or snacks, and this smoothie checks all the boxes. It’s made with simple, filling, healthy ingredients, and my kids love it. I make is several time a week in the winter and take it on the car while I run errands. The chocolate-peppermint combo is really festive and perfect for the holidays too. If you don’t like peppermint just omit it from the recipe and the smoothie will still be delicious. It’s also great with a little almond extract, if that’s more your jam.
